Describe advances in road construction: Some states started turnpikes which were toll roads in order to gain money from the society and to improve the roads.

Describe advances in water transportation: The steam boat made transportation faster and making the Mississippi river more useful

Why is the Eerie Canal important? It connected farms with cities by water and through there they shipped goods making NYC the industrial center.

Describe advances in industry including Samuel Slater: Samuel Slater was English men who escaped out of GB and built the textile mill from his own head. After touring England factories Francis Cabot Lowell opens fully operation mill where all aspects of clothes are made. With this opening of factories, factories improved and also did the production.

Describe the inventions of Sam Morse and Eli Whitney: Eli Whitney saw picking cotton with our own hands was too difficult and thought making the cotton gin would speed up the work and the cotton trade. Sam Morse invented electric telegraph allowing communication over distance.

Why did the Cotton Gin expand slavery? Since cotton gin made cotton more expandable, slaves were need to work more on the cotton gin
