Describe French Exploration of the New World: French explorers like Verrazano and Cartier sailed to the new world interested in finding the Northwest Passage.

Describe French founding of New Orleans: in 1862 Robert de la Salle was hoping to find the Northwest Passage too bad he failed and traveled all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico and founded the city of New Orleans.

Describe Dutch Exploration in North America: In 1614 the Dutch had formed a permanent settlement at fort Nassau called new Netherlands. To guard the Hudson River built New Amsterdam at the tip of Manhattan

Describe the discovery of Pennsylvania: Pennsylvania began as a debt paid by King Charles II to Quaker William Penn and the kind gave Penn the land as a proprietary Colony.
