1.he thought he could have a good chance of making a good impact on the union so he marched to penn.
2.Lee's men run into fed cavarly to northwest of gettysburg, feds call for support which is now run by george meade.
3.Lee orders general longstreet to attack from the south end of battle line, which longstreet fails to succeed
4.Lee again tried one more time attacking in the morning with a major cannon attack meant to break union troops, he then orders a full frontal assault on cementary ridge.
